The Priceline products I would buy again and those that I wouldn’t – October 2019 edition

I have been trying out a bunch of new products from Priceline and below are the three products I would be grabbing again and three I wouldn’t be spending my money on

My three current faves

1. Karen Murrell Natural Lipstick

My first impression of these lipsticks was that I loved the packaging! The cute colourful retro looking packaging and then the black sleek looking lipstick is such a perfect combination. The shade I have been wearing is Poppy Passion and its a great everyday shade, especially during the warmer season. The lipstick is made from natural ingredients which is another big tick in my book. It also feels so nice on. Slides on easily and feels really moisturising on my lips all day long! RRP $29.95

2. Pantene Micellar Aloe Vera

Such a fan of this range of shampoo and conditioner! The micellar in the shampoo and conditioner works to remove dirt build up in hair. The range is also infused with provitamin B5, antioxidants, sea salt, and micelles. The smell is divine! I absolutely love washing my hair with this range. RRP from $12.99

3. MINETAN Invisi Color Self Tan Foam

This has revolutionised the way I self tan! As a Mum of two kids, I have very little time to hang about at home waiting for my self tanner to develop. I love that this tanner is invisible because I slather it on my legs and arms and go on about the day without having to worry about people seeing that I have a tanner on. The colour develops in an hour but I leave the tanner on beyond the hour and it develops into a beautiful dark brown shade. It also doesn’t smell like your typical self tanner. I love using it. RRP $29.99

Three products I wouldn’t buy

1. NEUTROGENA Deep Clean Cleansing Oil

This product isn’t a reflection on Neutrogena, I just don’t like using a cleansing oil. There are so many other cleansing options out there like foam cleanser or gel cleansers. I just don’t like the oily feel. It also doesn’t smell like anything like some other cleansers has a subtle smell. This particular product doesn’t. I would just prefer to use other cleansers over an oil based one. RRP $18.99

2. BURTS BEES Lipstick

The Burts Bees lip balm range is one of my all time favourite range and I always have one of their lip balms in my bag but I tried out their lipstick range and didn’t like the texture. It was very bumpy/rough like it had little bits of clump in the lipstick and then I just found it was too moistorising that it slides on and off too easily – so I found myself reapplying it all the time. I am still a huge fan of Burts Bees but will just not be buying their lipsticks. RRP $19.99

3. MY PERFECT COSMETICS My Perfect Eyes

I was really intrigued by this product that says it can “instantly erases fine lines, wrinkles and dark circles whilst compressing puffiness with results lasting up to 8 hours” for me it just felt uncomfortable having the product on. It felt like what I would imagine putting a bit of craft glue on your skin and wearing it all day. It feels tight. A bit annoying and my initial instinct is to rub it off. Does it deliver on what it says? I think it does it to an extent but really I think you can hide those fine lines and wrinkles with great concealer and makeup products. At this price point, I wouldn’t be spending nearly $100 on this. RRP. $99.95
