I just recently had my son’s 1st birthday and enlisted the help of Glitterbomb Parties to keep ten children entertained on the day. It was the best decision I could have made and here is my review on booking them for my son’s birthday party.
Range of characters
When I jumped online to see what characters they had available for parties, I saw a huge range. I didn’t exactly know what I wanted to hire as we had a Woodlands theme party but was undecided about what kind of character I wanted. I saw everything from superheroes, princesses, Minions, Trolls and the list goes on. You would definitely find something available for all tastes and party themes. The owner (Laura) was so wonderful in helping me decide on a character. I was pretty indecisive on what to get for the party but she said a fairy would be perfect for the theme and for the kids and she was so right
A variety of inclusions
Depending on the package you choose, there is a variety of inclusions that you can add to your package. As a minimum, you will have a character of your choice for an hour, dancing, music, party activities, pass the parcel with prizes and photo opportunity with the character. On top of that you can add face painting, balloon animals and party bags for each guest with a special present for the birthday boy or girl.
Affordable
I found the pricing for the packages and the inclusions very competitive. Their 1 hour package starts at $200 which is a fabulous and for just $75 more you can add facepainting to the party which is such a great price and gives you another 30 mins from the entertainer. If budget isn’t an issue – I would book in their 2 hour glitter package for $400 which includes face painting, balloon animals and party bags (so you don’t have to worry about organising those!) plus they will keep the kids entertained for 2 whole hours!
On the day
Our fairy (Brooke) arrived on time with all the goodies she needed to entertain the kids. She was absolutely lovely and very professional. She was able to engage ten rowdy kids to take part in the activities she had set up for them as well as play a variety of games and dance to music that she had provided. There was hoola hooping, an obstacle course and pass the parcel being played. The kids of course loved when it was face painting time as they each sat down and got to choose a face painting design. We then got some great photos of our fairy with the kids, and before you knew it she was gone and missed by the kids. But it was absolute bliss for those 2 hours as the kids were happily entertained and all the parents were able to have lunch and talk in peace while the kids were busy playing.
