Over the weekend, I hosted my son Maxi’s 1st birthday party at home. In the lead up to the party, I was wondering a) how was I going to accommodate everyone for lunch b) how I was going to keep the kids entertained and c) put together a beautiful looking party that I would be proud of and that Maxi will look back on one day. Save money
When I was planning that party, I was wondering how I was going to sit everyone for lunch (including the kids), so initially I looked into buying some trestle tables and chairs for the party. That would have set me back a couple of hundred dollars! At Tiny Tots, you can hire an adult or kid’s trestle table for $10 for the whole weekend! Seats for the kids and adults can also be hired for $2.50 each. Hiring the table and chairs through Tiny Tots ended up saving me a lot of money. This also applies to the toys I hired. I could have easily spent $100’s on a play gym but hiring toys through Tiny Tots means I only ended up spending $40 for the play gym.
Save on space
Hiring tables and chairs means that I end up saving on space! If I went and bought trestle tables and chairs for the party, it would mean that I would have to find a place to store it all and therefore lead to more clutter in the house (which I think we can all do without!). This also leads to saving space when it comes to toys. They have such a great range of toys, that any event I hold going forward, I can hire a new set and not have to worry about storing them or cluttering the backyard with more toys.

These prices are for hire for the entire weekend, which means you will get delivery of the items on a Friday and pick up on a Monday – so your kids can enjoy the toys for the whole weekend.

The great thing is that you have a huge range of toys to choose from. The toys cover everything from babies to young children which was perfect for Maxi’s party as we had babies and kids up to 5 years old attending and they all were able to enjoy the range of toys. There is baby activity gyms, ball pits, ride on cars, play gym and slides, cubby house and even a jumping castle!
Props for your party
I was so surprised when I found out that Tiny Tots also have heaps of props you can hire from them to style and theme your party. I had decided on a Woodlands theme party but wasn’t sure how to pull it together. When speaking with the lovely Dalia (from Tiny Tots Toy Hire) about my party, she mentioned to me that they had some great props that would suit my woodlands themed party and made some suggestions as well as directing me to her Instagram page where she has posted photos of other Woodlands themed parties which Tiny Tots has provided props for. It was just what I needed to get the party looking how I wanted it to. I was able to hire deers, rabbits, mushrooms, a rustic timber table, grass and lolly jars. It really gave that wow factor when people entered our party.
They have so many themed props you could choose from like a superhero party, circus, Alice in Wonderland and a princess party to name just a few themed props from their large range.
Convenience and ease
Honestly, there was no better feeling than having everything I needed for the party delivered to my door on Friday, ready for me to set up for the weekend. I didn’t have to worry about driving around to pick up things and organising a ute to take table and chairs around. The convenience and ease of having everything delivered to your door was the best.
