I have been wanting a smart doorbell for awhile but I didn’t want to pay the hefty price tag that accompanied what is out in the market so we were excited to try out the Laser Smart Doorbell especially at the price point that it is selling at.
Easy to set-up
As someone who isn’t tech-savvy and usually relies on hubby to set up gadgets at home, I attempted to do this one myself. The kit comes with everything you need to mount the doorbell – so you don’t have to hit up Bunnings trying to figure out how to install it!
All you need to do next is download the app which is found on Google Play or the Apple App Store and then connect the doorbell to your Wi-Fi system. If I can do it, anyone can do it.
Laser have filmed a great video on their YouTube channel that will take you step by step through the installation process. I only found this after I had already installed the doorbell so it’s not needed but it will give you a good idea on how easy it is to install and some of its features
Answer the door from anywhere
I usually miss deliveries because I am in the backyard with the kids and I can’t hear the doorbell, which is so annoying! I love that I can carry my phone around with me and no matter where I am inside the house (or out of the house!) I can see who is ringing the doorbell and because of the two way audio, I can let them know that I will be there in a sec without them leaving.
Extra level of safety
The Laser Smart Doorbell has given me an extra level of comfort as it has a live video option, so you can always see what’s going on outside your front door without having to open it – and also if someone is there but is not pressing the doorbell i.e. checking to see if anyone is at home, it does send you an alert due to its motion detection so you can always raise the alarm if someone is lurking about.
Affordable
With other Smart Doorbells setting you back at least $250, the Laser Doorbell is retailing at $149.95, which given what it does – is such great value for money!
