Rainbow the Koala by Remy Lai

A beautifully written graphic novel from the perspective of a little koala trying to survive the wild and battling bushfires, climate change and humans.

Given the bushfires Australia experienced, this is a great book to explain to children the very real consequences of climate change from the perspective of the many innocent animals out there that do not have a voice.

My 8-year-old read the book and was so concerned for the plight of Rainbow the Koala in the book who was separated from his Mum and had to survive a bushfire on his own.

It’s a great book to raise awareness of our precious wildlife and the things we can do to stop climate change and help our animals to survive.

A great and easy read for early readers 6-9 years old.
