Boss Baby: Family Night In

To celebrate the release of Boss Baby on Blu-Ray and DVD, we have decided to organise a family night in to watch and enjoy the movie all together!

Boss Baby is about seven-year-old Tim Templeton, who suddenly finds his share of parental love plummeting when his new baby brother (Alec Baldwin) arrives — wearing a suit and toting a briefcase — and makes it clear to everyone that he’s in charge. But when Tim discovers that Boss Baby is on a secret mission, he reluctantly agrees to team up with his pint-sized sibling for an epic adventure that might just change the world!

Alec Baldwin is hilarious as Baby Boss and we definitely enjoyed the movie just as much as our daughter did. Mia loved watching the babies acting up and creating a lot of mayhem and I loved seeing the heartfelt story about a boy having to deal with the introduction of a new baby in his family. The story sits quite close to home since baby number 2 arrives in a couple of months and I am always wondering how our little one will adjust.boss_baby_out_now_review

With the winter weather upon us, we love nothing more than having a family night in and watching a good movie that not only my 3 year old can enjoy, but we can get a laugh from too. How do you prepare for a family night in with a movie? The way we get ready for a family night in is to ensure everyone has a blanket to keep warm. Next we bring out Mia’s couch which she can pull out and lie on and we prop her pillow on there so she’s comfortable. Next we organise some snacks for the whole family. Popcorn is a must, with a bowl of chips and drinks to wash it down with. And that’s it! We turn off all the lights and settle in for a great night.

Check out this hilarious clip of Alec Baldwin asking Aussie kids questions like ‘where do babies come from?’ and ‘if they like their brother or sister!’
